48. President Häagenti (Deck 1)

[Duality]

President HäagentiHaagenti is a Great President of Hell, ruling thirty-three legions of demons. He makes men wise by instructing them in every subject, transmutes all metals into gold, and changes wine into water and water into wine.

Haagenti is depicted as a big bull with the wings of a griffin, changing into a man under request of the conjurer.

Also called "Haage"/"Hage".


I'm starting with old school graphite on board, inking over it, then will clean up digitally and add some effects... I just started collecting images and did some sketching... then just drew...

I'm going to need better scans... the contrast rapes the image but here it is so far...

Wow this looks incredible man. I'm excited to see how it comes along.

Since you probably washed over the sketch I hate to make any crits but it looks like his right pectoral and shoulder are in a little close. It seems like drawing somes skin folds in his neck to explain the head turning a little towards the viewer could explain that the torso is turned a little away.

Thanks, yeah that pect is a little screwy, I noticed that. I washed first over grey primer so it was easy enough to fix. All things considered its coming along well. I'll update shortly.

I've been meaning to update this for a while. I have so many things going on at the same time that it's been difficult to get to. That said, here's the updateso far... Basic concept is pretty final but execution is still being worked through... Only BW so far as you can see.... The wings are going to take quite a bit of work too.
