For all you Korra fanatics out there, I don't know if they'll ever release an official soundtrack. It'd be the crime of the century if they didn't, but some fans made a tentative version and it's gawgeous.

more cole fangirling after watching this week's sytycd. that Pasodoble gave me a serious lady boner. he dominated the routine and i'm so excited to see him perform again next week.

i also thought that audrey was totally gorgeous in the travis wall piece. she's so goofy off the stage, but when she's dancing she's stunning to watch.

Thank... definitely thank! :omgyes:

Boy was I disappointed in the dentist routine that Cole was dealt. That was a bit too corny for my tastes. I loved this routine from this week's episode though. Friggin' Sonya Tayeh man. Her choreography is so good. The one she did with Amelia and Will was great too. I agree, Iris - Amelia is totally adorable!

Breaking bad season 5...

Is it just me, or are they going one step too far with stuff? I couldn't really swallow the last part of Walt's gigantic transformation, and some stylistic details they've used in this episode (3) just felt really obvious (Scarface??) and old and tired (easy-listening jazz song when they're setting up the lab? seen it so many times elsewhere...). I don't know. I feel more like I'm watching a normal TV show... you know, not as well written and trying too hard to keep up the interest by going really dark.

BUT I'LL WATCH IT TILL THE END! That first scene of episode 1 made sure of that.

If it sucks, I'll pretend it all ended with season 4 and they lived happily ever after.

I'm giving them a lot of leeway because I'm hoping they're just setting up an epic finale. I can't imagine what the pressure is like to end a show like this.

This may seem like a silly complaint, but I really miss the old episode format where they would open the show with a scene near the end. Then you had the suspense of wondering how things got to that point. I always thought it was a pretty interesting approach to playing out the story and i have missed it this season.

Yeah, I'll definitely have to watch more to make up my mind on the story. I have no doubts it wil be epic, but I'm a bit skeptical of what's happening to the characters so far.
My main gripe with this last episode was more about the stylistic choices and how obvious they're getting. As Katheryn was saying, they seemed to have a great grip on the storytelling that was very special to the series, and it sort of feels like it's fading. But I guess there will be ups and downs anyway. Let's talk again in 4 weeks :)

Alright, much more consistent episode this week! Sort of counterbalanced all the snappiness and cheap tricks of the last one and made the stuff easier to swallow.

Haha Slid3, I'm skeptical till the end. But even if they end up messing it up bad, it won't keep me from considering it the best show I've watched in recent memory! :toby:

Gravity Falls.

I haven't been able to catch much of it, but what I have seen is pretty dang good. It's kinda like Regular Show meets Scooby Doo in that the episodes usually start out harmless enough, but eventually go off the rails and throws in mystery and horror elements.

It also helps that the animation is supurb and the pallete is spectacular. I freakin' love the use of colors and atmosphere in this show. It's also one of the few examples of a show that actually does look as good (or at least comparable to) the intro, which is saying a lot because the intro to this show is genius.

I just got around to watching this week's episode of Breaking Bad. It was so intense!

When Walt tried to wear Skylar down by pressing her to detail what her plan is and she ended up shooting back that she's waiting for his cancer to come back, I leaned back where I was sitting and went 'daaaaaaaaaaaamn'.

Also, I agree with Mike. That jittery chick at Madrigal needs to die.
